About
eSIM World is a small editorial site about mobile data for travellers. We compare the plans on offer, explain how the technology actually behaves in the field, and walk through the setup steps that decide whether a phone has signal when the plane door opens.
What we cover
Three subjects get most of our attention. First, plan comparison: what a gigabyte really costs, which countries are included, and where the fair-use limits sit.
Second, device compatibility. eSIM support is not universal and it is not always obvious from the model name, so we check the details that trip people up.
Third, installation. Most travel connectivity problems are setup problems, and almost all of them are avoidable when the profile is downloaded before departure.
How we work
We read the published terms of each plan, the carrier documentation and the device specifications, and we describe what those documents say in plain language. Where a detail is unclear or changes often, we say so rather than guess.
We do not accept payment for a positive review, and a plan cannot buy a place in a comparison table.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy a plan after following one, we may earn a commission. That commission costs you nothing extra and it does not influence what we recommend, how we rank options, or which drawbacks we point out.
Corrections
Plan terms, prices and network lists change constantly. If something here is out of date or simply wrong, write to [email protected] and we will fix it.
